MHS Tools — Legal Policies & Digital Protection Framework
These policies govern the use of MHS Tools, its website, customer accounts, digital products, payment processes, licences, downloads and support services. They must be read together with the product-specific licence and purchase terms displayed at checkout. MHS Tools does not intend to exclude or restrict any consumer right that applicable law does not permit it to exclude or restrict.
Directory of Framework Policies (1–16)
POLICY 1 — PRIVACY POLICY
How MecHet Solutions collects, uses, discloses, stores and protects personal information.
1.Introduction
MecHet Solutions (“MHS”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates MHS Tools, a marketplace for digital engineering tools, including CAD/CAM/CAE plugins, scripts, macros, add-ins and related software resources.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store and protect personal information when you visit our website, create an account, purchase or download a product, contact support, join a waitlist or otherwise interact with MHS Tools.
We will process personal data for specified, lawful purposes and will not intentionally collect more information than is reasonably necessary for those purposes.
2.Information we collect
Depending on how you use the website, we may collect the following categories.
2.1Account information
We do not store or display a customer's plaintext password. Password authentication must be handled through an appropriate authentication system.
- Full name.
- Email address.
- Phone number, where requested or necessary for an identified purpose.
- Password authentication data handled through our authentication provider.
- Account creation date, account status and relevant security records.
2.2Company and billing information
Customers may provide the following details. We will not require tax information unrelated to the transaction or legal obligations.
- Company or business name.
- Business type.
- Billing address and country.
- GSTIN or other tax identification details where relevant.
- Invoice details and purchase references.
2.3Purchase and transaction information

2.5Communications
When you contact us, we may retain the information you provide, including support messages, complaint details, product feedback and correspondence concerning a transaction.
2.6Marketing preferences
Where marketing subscriptions are offered, we may record your consent status, the version of the consent wording, the date and time of consent, and any subsequent withdrawal.
Marketing consent is separate from consent or acknowledgements required to complete an order or receive essential service messages.
3.How we use information
We may process information for the following lawful business and operational purposes. We will not use personal information for materially unrelated purposes without a valid legal basis and any notice or consent required by applicable law.
- Create and manage customer accounts.
- Authenticate users and protect accounts.
- Process orders and verify payments.
- Provide product downloads and licence entitlements.
- Generate invoices, credit notes and transaction records.
- Respond to support requests, refunds and complaints.
- Maintain website functionality and troubleshoot errors.
- Detect fraud, abuse, unauthorised access and security incidents.
- Meet applicable accounting, tax, legal and regulatory obligations.
- Maintain records of required legal acknowledgements and consents.
- Send marketing communications where valid permission or another lawful basis permits them.
- Improve the service using appropriately configured analytics and feedback.
4.Legal basis and consent
Where applicable law requires consent, we will request it in a clear and specific manner before processing that requires consent.
Contractual necessity, legal obligations, legitimate interests or other recognised legal grounds may apply to particular processing activities, depending on the jurisdiction.
A customer must not be forced to consent to optional marketing as a condition of purchasing a product.
5.Service providers and data sharing
We may share the minimum information necessary with service providers that support authentication and account management, database and hosting infrastructure, payment processing, email delivery and customer support, secure file storage and digital downloads, website security and performance, analytics (where enabled), and accounting, tax, legal and regulatory compliance.
For example, Razorpay may process payment information under its own applicable terms and privacy practices.
Service providers should receive only the information necessary for their assigned functions and should be subject to appropriate contractual and security safeguards.
We may disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights, investigate fraud or respond to a valid governmental or judicial request.
We do not authorise service providers to use customer data for unrelated purposes merely because they provide services to MHS.
6.International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside India or outside your country of residence.
Where international transfers occur, we will use the safeguards and transfer mechanisms required by applicable law, including any relevant restrictions, contractual protections or government requirements.
7.Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to applicable legal obligations. We will establish and implement a documented retention schedule rather than retaining all information indefinitely.
- Account information: while the account remains active and for a reasonable period necessary for security and account administration.
- Order and invoice records: for applicable accounting, tax, dispute and statutory retention periods.
- Security logs: for a proportionate period based on security needs and legal requirements.
- Support records: for the time reasonably needed to resolve the matter and address related disputes.
- Marketing consent records: while consent remains active and, where appropriate, for a limited period afterwards to demonstrate or honour the recorded preference.
8.Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, erasure, consent withdrawal, processing restrictions, data portability, or to lodge a complaint with a competent authority.
To make a request, contact info@mechetsolutions.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
We will respond within the period required by applicable law. We may retain information that we are legally required to keep, including certain transaction records, but will restrict its use to the relevant purpose.
9.Account deletion
You may request account deletion through the account interface where that functionality is available or by contacting us.
We will assess the request, delete or de-identify eligible personal information, and retain only information that must or may lawfully be retained.
Deleting an account may remove access to account-based downloads, licences and order history. We will explain any material consequences before deletion where reasonably practicable.
Deletion of an account does not automatically invalidate a legal obligation to retain an invoice or transaction record.
10.Cookies and analytics
The website may use essential cookies or similar technologies to maintain sessions, authenticate users, protect the service and remember necessary settings.
Non-essential analytics or advertising technologies, if used, will be configured in accordance with applicable consent and notice requirements. Further details are provided in the Cookie & Tracking Policy.
11.Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. We will investigate suspected incidents, take reasonable steps to contain them and provide notices where required by applicable law.
12.Children
MHS Tools is designed for professional and general engineering software users, not for the intentional collection of children's personal information.
Where age-related restrictions apply, we will follow applicable law. If we discover that personal information was collected unlawfully from a child, we will take appropriate steps to address it.
13.Changes to this Policy
We may revise this Policy to reflect changes in our services, technologies or legal obligations. We will update the revision date and provide additional notice or obtain renewed consent when required.

POLICY 2 — SHIPPING & DIGITAL DELIVERY POLICY
Fulfillment standards, instant download links, payment verification, and software delivery.
1.Scope
MHS Tools primarily supplies digital engineering products. Unless a product listing expressly states otherwise, purchases do not include physical goods or physical shipping.
2.Digital delivery
Digital products may be delivered through a download link associated with a customer account, a secure download page, a licence or entitlement associated with the customer's account, or another delivery method expressly stated on the product page. The applicable delivery method will be disclosed before purchase.
3.Delivery time
Where a product is available for immediate digital delivery, access is normally granted after the payment provider confirms successful payment and the website completes its entitlement checks.
Payment confirmation, security checks, system outages or manual review may delay access.
If a product is not immediately available, the product page must clearly disclose its delivery schedule or fulfilment conditions before payment. We will not advertise an unverified delivery guarantee.
4.Payment verification
A payment is not treated as successful solely because a customer returns to the website after visiting the payment provider.
Access will be granted only after a trusted server-side verification or payment-provider notification confirms the relevant transaction and amount.
If payment is pending, failed, reversed or unverified, the order will not be marked as successfully paid and the paid-product entitlement will not be issued.
5.Download availability
Where a purchase includes account-based downloads, the customer should be able to access the relevant product through the account for the period stated on the product page or licence.
If a download expires, has a limited number of attempts or is restricted to a particular licence, those limitations must be disclosed before purchase.
We may use time-limited download links and reasonable download controls to prevent unauthorised distribution.
6.Delivery problems
If you have paid but cannot access a product:
1. Sign in using the email address associated with the order.
2. Check the order and download sections of your account.
3. Confirm whether the payment is marked as successful.
4. Contact info@mechetsolutions.com if the problem persists.
Please include your order number, product name and payment reference if available. Do not email passwords, full card numbers or other authentication secrets.
We will investigate and attempt to restore access, provide an alternative delivery method or, where appropriate, issue a refund.
7.Incorrect or incomplete files
If the supplied file is missing, corrupted, materially incomplete or materially different from the product description, contact support.
We will investigate and, where appropriate, provide a corrected file, replacement, reasonable workaround or refund as required by applicable law.
8.Software compatibility
Product pages should specify the supported host software, versions, operating systems, dependencies, required permissions and any known limitations.
Customers are responsible for checking the disclosed requirements before purchase. However, this does not remove our responsibility for materially inaccurate descriptions or applicable consumer guarantees.
We do not guarantee compatibility with every future software version, operating system or third-party update unless expressly stated.
9.No physical shipping
MHS Tools does not charge physical shipping fees for ordinary digital downloads.
If physical products are introduced later, a separate shipping policy must disclose delivery regions, costs, carriers, estimated delivery windows, customs responsibilities, loss or damage procedures and return arrangements before checkout.
10.Contact
Digital delivery support: info@mechetsolutions.com.
POLICY 3 — REFUND & RETURN POLICY
Fair, transparent refund procedures, duplicate charges, delivery failures, and statutory remedies.
1.General principle
MHS Tools aims to handle refund requests fairly and consistently.
Digital products cannot generally be returned in the same way as physical goods. However, this does not mean that every digital purchase is automatically non-refundable.
Nothing in this Policy excludes, limits or replaces mandatory consumer rights, statutory guarantees, remedies for defective digital content or any right to a refund that applicable law provides.
2.Circumstances in which a refund may be available
Subject to applicable law and the facts of the case, a refund may be approved in the following circumstances.
2.1Duplicate payment
If the same order was charged more than once, we will investigate and refund a verified duplicate charge.
2.2Payment completed but product not delivered
If payment was successful but the product was not delivered, we will first attempt to provide the purchased entitlement or restore access.
If we cannot provide the purchased product within a reasonable period, we will consider and provide the refund or other remedy required by applicable law.
2.3Defective or materially misdescribed product
If a product is materially defective, materially differs from its description or fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, we may provide troubleshooting, a corrected file, replacement, price adjustment or refund as appropriate to the circumstances and law.
We will not use a blanket digital-download exclusion to avoid a remedy that the law requires.
2.4Unauthorised or incorrect transaction
If you report an unauthorised charge, an incorrect amount or another payment problem, we will investigate the transaction and coordinate with the payment provider where appropriate.
A report does not automatically establish that a transaction was unauthorised, but it will be assessed fairly.
2.5Cancellation before fulfilment
If an order has been paid for but digital fulfilment has not begun, a cancellation and refund may be available, subject to the product terms and applicable law.
2.6Other legally required circumstances
We will provide any additional refund, replacement, repair, cancellation or other remedy required by applicable consumer law.
3.Change-of-mind requests
Where permitted by law, a change-of-mind refund may be declined after digital delivery has begun or the product has been accessed or downloaded.
This rule is subject to any statutory withdrawal right, mandatory consumer guarantee or other legal protection applicable to the customer and transaction.
A customer's use or download of a product does not automatically remove every legal right to a remedy.
4.Free products
Free downloads have no purchase price to refund. If a free product is inaccessible, corrupted or materially misdescribed, contact support so that we can investigate and attempt to correct the problem.
5.Information required for a request
Please email info@mechetsolutions.com with your name and account email, order or invoice number, product name, payment date and payment reference (if available), a clear explanation of the issue, and relevant screenshots or error messages. Do not send passwords, complete card numbers or security codes.
6.Review process
We will acknowledge the request, verify order and payment status, review supporting evidence, determine appropriate remediation (troubleshooting, replacement, or refund), and record the verified transaction outcome.
7.Refund initiation timeline
For approved refunds, MHS aims to initiate the refund within 5–7 business days after approval.
The actual time for funds to appear depends on the payment provider, original payment method, issuing bank and applicable banking processes. Refunds may take additional time, including 10 business days or longer in exceptional cases.
The initiation period is not a guarantee of the date on which the bank will credit the funds.
8.Refund destination
Refunds will normally be sent through the original payment method or the payment provider's supported refund process. We cannot redirect funds to arbitrary third-party bank accounts.
9.Refund status
An approved refund will be recorded with its status and available payment-provider reference.
A request is not considered completed merely because an administrator clicks an internal refund button. MHS must verify the payment-provider outcome and update the customer-facing status accurately.
10.Chargebacks
If you believe a transaction is incorrect, please contact us and/or your payment provider. We will respond to legitimate disputes with verified evidence without restricting legal consumer rights.
11.Refunds required by law
If the law of the customer's jurisdiction provides a stronger refund or withdrawal right than this Policy, the mandatory legal right will prevail.
12.Contact
Refund requests: info@mechetsolutions.com.
POLICY 4 — CANCELLATION POLICY
Rules governing pre-fulfillment cancellation, unverified orders, and subscription management.
1.Unpaid orders
An order that has not been paid for may generally be abandoned or cancelled without a refund, because no payment has been collected.
If a payment attempt remains pending, the customer should verify its status before retrying to avoid duplicate charges.
2.Orders awaiting payment verification
If payment is pending or cannot be verified, we may temporarily hold the order without granting paid access.
If the payment ultimately fails, is reversed or is not completed, the order may be marked failed or cancelled.
If money was nevertheless collected, the customer may contact support for investigation.
3.Paid orders before digital delivery
A customer may request cancellation after payment but before the product has been delivered or made available.
We will assess whether fulfilment has begun, whether the product is eligible for cancellation, and whether applicable law requires a refund.
Where cancellation is accepted, any approved refund will be processed under the Refund & Return Policy.
4.Orders after digital delivery
Once a digital product has been delivered or accessed, cancellation may not be available for a simple change of mind where the law permits this restriction.
However, cancellation or another remedy may remain available for defective products, material misdescription, failed delivery or any other situation in which applicable law provides a right.
5.Subscriptions and recurring payments
If subscriptions or recurring billing are introduced, their terms must be shown before purchase, including billing frequency, renewal date, cancellation procedure, and access continuation.
MHS Tools must not claim that subscriptions can be cancelled through an interface unless that interface actually exists and works.
6.Account deletion is not order cancellation
Deleting a customer account does not automatically cancel a completed purchase, reverse a payment or erase records that must be retained for legal or accounting reasons.
Customers should submit a separate cancellation or refund request where appropriate.
7.How to request cancellation
Email info@mechetsolutions.com and include your account email, order number, product name and reason for cancellation.
We will assess the request and confirm the outcome. An email request does not itself establish that a paid transaction has been cancelled or refunded.
8.Cancellation by MHS Tools
We may cancel or suspend an order where reasonably necessary because of suspected fraud, a pricing or listing error, legal restrictions, a security incident, unavailability of the product or another legitimate operational reason.
Where we cancel a paid order and cannot fulfil it, we will provide an appropriate refund or other remedy required by law.
We will not use this clause to avoid obligations arising from a confirmed purchase without a lawful basis.
9.Contact
Cancellation requests: info@mechetsolutions.com.
POLICY 5 — TERMS OF SERVICE & SALE
Customer agreements, eligibility, product listings, orders, payments, disclaimers, and liability.
1.Agreement
By accessing MHS Tools or making a purchase, you agree to the applicable terms displayed on the website and at checkout.
If you do not agree, do not use the service or purchase products. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
2.Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally capable of entering into the relevant agreement. If you act for a company, you represent that you are authorised to do so.
You must provide accurate information, protect your login credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorised account access.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law. We are not entitled to treat every unauthorised action as your fault without considering the circumstances.
3.Product listings
Product listings should accurately describe product functionality, intended use, price, currency, supported software and versions, operating systems, file formats, delivery method, licence scope, restrictions, and known limitations.
Illustrations and screenshots are provided to explain the product and should not be treated as a promise of functionality that the product does not actually have.
4.Orders and acceptance
Submitting an order is a request to purchase the listed product.
Order acceptance and entitlement creation are subject to payment verification, availability, fraud checks and applicable legal requirements.
A payment redirect or browser message alone does not establish a completed order.
5.Prices and taxes
Prices, currency and applicable taxes must be disclosed before payment.
The applicable tax treatment will depend on the transaction, customer location, business registration, product type and governing law. Tax will not be assumed to be a universal fixed percentage.
Invoices must accurately reflect the transaction and applicable tax treatment.
6.Payment processing
Payments may be processed through Razorpay or another provider expressly identified at checkout.
Payment providers may impose their own terms, verification requirements and processing timelines.
MHS will verify successful payments before granting paid access. Customers must not attempt to manipulate payment status, duplicate transactions or bypass payment controls.
7.Digital product licence
A purchase normally grants the customer the licence stated on the relevant product page or accompanying licence document.
Unless the product licence expressly provides otherwise, purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of the underlying copyright or intellectual property.
The Digital Product Licence / EULA forms part of the purchase terms.
8.Prohibited conduct
You must not commit fraud, bypass access controls, redistribute paid products without permission, upload malware, interfere with availability, scrape content unlawfully, impersonate another person, or infringe intellectual property.
9.Suspension and termination
We may suspend or restrict an account where reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security risks, legal obligations or material violations of these terms.
Where practicable, we will explain the reason and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. This does not prevent immediate action where necessary to contain a serious security or fraud risk.
Termination does not remove mandatory consumer rights or legally required refund obligations.
10.Availability and changes
We may update, maintain, replace or discontinue website features and products.
We will not promise indefinite product availability, lifetime updates or lifetime support unless expressly included in the relevant purchase terms.
Where discontinuation affects a paid entitlement, we will consider the applicable licence, contractual commitments and legal obligations.
11.Disclaimers
Engineering tools may require professional judgement, testing and validation.
Unless expressly warranted, MHS Tools does not guarantee that a tool is suitable for every machine, software configuration, production environment or safety-critical application.
Customers must independently validate engineering outputs before relying on them in manufacturing, design approval, structural analysis or other consequential work.
Nothing in these terms excludes a guarantee or liability that applicable law prohibits excluding.
12.Liability
To the extent permitted by law, MHS is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website or a product.
Any limitation of liability must be interpreted subject to mandatory consumer protections and applicable law. It does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13.Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, a user may be responsible for third-party claims arising from the user's unlawful conduct, infringement or material breach of these terms.
This provision does not require consumers to indemnify MHS for losses caused by MHS's own unlawful conduct or waive mandatory statutory rights.
14.Governing law and disputes
The governing law and dispute-resolution forum must be completed after confirming the actual contracting entity, registered address and applicable consumer laws.
No clause in this section is intended to remove a consumer's right to bring a claim before a court or authority that has mandatory jurisdiction.
15.Contact
Questions concerning these terms: info@mechetsolutions.com.
POLICY 6 — DIGITAL PRODUCT LICENCE / EULA
Scope of license grant, permitted engineering use, restrictions, updates, and open-source terms.
1.Licence grant
Subject to payment and compliance with the applicable product licence, MHS grants the customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the purchased product for the purposes and within the scope stated on the product page.
The specific product licence prevails over these general terms where it expressly addresses a particular feature or permitted use.
2.Ownership
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, copyright and other intellectual property rights remain with their respective owners.
A customer purchases a right to use the product, not ownership of its source code, copyright, trademarks or underlying intellectual property.
3.Permitted use
Subject to the product-specific licence, permitted use may include:
• Installing and running the product in the supported environment.
• Using the product for the customer's own engineering work.
• Creating outputs using the product.
• Making reasonable backups where legally permitted.
• Using the product within the number of users, devices or workstations expressly authorised.
The listing must specify whether a licence is personal, individual, commercial, team-based, workstation-based or enterprise-wide.
4.Restrictions
Unless expressly authorised in writing or permitted by applicable law, you must not resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute the product; share paid download links or licence keys with unauthorised users; remove copyright notices; circumvent licence enforcement; reverse engineer or decompile the product (except where legally non-waivable); or represent the product as your own.
5.Updates and support
Updates, upgrades, maintenance and support are included only where stated in the relevant product listing or licence.
An update to a supported host application may affect compatibility. We will describe known compatibility requirements and material changes where reasonably practicable.
6.Third-party software
A product may depend on third-party software, APIs, libraries or host applications. Such components may be governed by separate terms and licences. Customers are responsible for complying with those terms, and MHS should identify material dependencies where known.
7.Open-source components
Where a product includes open-source components, the applicable open-source licences continue to govern those components. Nothing in this EULA overrides rights granted by an applicable open-source licence.
8.Licence termination
The licence may be suspended or terminated where the customer materially violates its terms, subject to applicable law and any required notice or opportunity to cure.
Termination does not automatically erase a customer's mandatory legal rights or entitlements that the law requires to continue.
9.No implied certification
A product listing does not imply that a product is officially certified, endorsed or approved by a third-party software vendor unless that status is expressly substantiated and accurately disclosed.
POLICY 7 — ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
Prohibited actions, platform security, integrity standards, and lawful vulnerability research.
Acceptable Use Rules
You must not use MHS Tools to:
• Commit fraud or facilitate illegal activity.
• Upload malicious code, spyware, ransomware or other harmful content.
• Circumvent authentication, licensing or payment controls.
• Interfere with website availability, security or other users' access.
• Conduct unauthorised vulnerability testing or penetration testing.
• Distribute stolen, pirated or infringing software.
• Misrepresent product functionality, compatibility or ownership.
• Harvest personal information without authorisation.
• Impersonate MHS, another user or a third party.
• Use automated access in a way that violates applicable restrictions or causes unreasonable load.
• Use products in a manner prohibited by the product-specific licence.
• Violate applicable sanctions, export restrictions or other laws where relevant.
MHS may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate action, including limiting access, removing content, suspending downloads or reporting unlawful conduct where legally appropriate.
This Policy does not prohibit lawful security research conducted with appropriate authorisation.
POLICY 8 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & COPYRIGHT POLICY
Brand ownership, copyright complaint procedure, rights holder review, and takedown standards.
1.Ownership
The MHS Tools name, branding, original website content and original materials are owned by MecHet Solutions or their respective rights holders, subject to any third-party rights.
Product-specific ownership may differ. A product's listing or licence should identify the relevant rights holder where necessary.
2.No transfer of copyright through purchase
Purchasing a digital product generally grants only the licence expressly provided. It does not transfer copyright or ownership of the underlying source code unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
3.Copyright complaints
A rights holder or authorised representative may report suspected infringement by emailing info@mechetsolutions.com.
The report should include: the complainant's name and contact details, identification of the protected work, the specific MHS Tools listing in question, an explanation of the alleged infringement, evidence of ownership/authority, and a statement of accuracy.
Do not submit unnecessary personal information or confidential material.
4.Review and action
We will review sufficiently detailed complaints and may request additional information, restrict access to disputed material, contact the relevant party or take other appropriate action.
Removal is not automatic proof of infringement. Where appropriate and legally permissible, affected parties may be given an opportunity to respond.
5.False complaints
Knowingly submitting materially false infringement claims may expose the complainant to legal consequences. Nothing in this Policy limits any statutory rights, defences or remedies.
6.Contact
Copyright and intellectual property complaints: info@mechetsolutions.com.
POLICY 9 — COOKIE & TRACKING POLICY
Essential cookies, session management, optional analytics, and user preference controls.
1.What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies may store or access information on a device when a user visits a website.
MHS Tools may use essential cookies and, if actually deployed, analytics or other non-essential technologies.
2.Essential technologies
Essential technologies may be used for account authentication, session management, security, fraud prevention, shopping workflows, saving privacy preferences, and maintaining necessary functionality.
Where permitted by law, these technologies may operate without optional marketing consent.
3.Analytics and optional technologies
If analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking tools are enabled, we will identify their purposes and provide the consent or opt-out controls required by applicable law.
We will not claim that the website uses no analytics, advertising cookies or third-party trackers unless the live implementation has been verified.
4.Managing preferences
Users should be able to review or change optional cookie preferences through the website's privacy controls where required.
Browser settings may also allow users to block or delete cookies, but doing so may affect account or website functionality.
5.Changes
This Policy may be updated when the website introduces or removes technologies.
POLICY 10 — INFORMATION SECURITY & DIGITAL PROTECTION POLICY
Technical security safeguards, password hashing, package integrity, and vulnerability disclosure.
1.Security objective
MHS Tools uses reasonable technical and organisational controls designed to protect customer accounts, personal data, software packages, payment workflows and digital entitlements.
Security measures are intended to reduce risk, not to promise that every attack or failure can be prevented.
2.Account security
The website implements secure authentication and session management, server-side authorisation checks, mandatory strong password requirements, secure password-reset procedures, rate limits against automated abuse, least-privilege administrative access, and logging of security and administrative events.
Customers should use unique passwords, protect their devices and report suspected account compromise.
3.Password handling
Passwords must not be stored in plaintext or written to application logs.
Password storage and authentication must be handled by a suitable authentication system using accepted security practices.
Where a password policy is configured, it must be consistently enforced on the server, not merely in the interface.
4.Secure product delivery
Paid products should be stored in protected storage rather than exposed through predictable public file paths.
The download system should verify user identity and paid entitlement, use protected download access, prevent unauthorized access to other customers' files, record download events, restrict administrative access, and support lawful entitlement revocation.
A hidden button or frontend-only restriction is not sufficient security.
5.Payment protection
Payment status must be verified server-side using trusted provider confirmation or signed webhooks.
The implementation includes verification of payment amount/currency/order, secure handling of webhook secrets, idempotent processing to prevent duplicate fulfillment, rejection of client-supplied success flags, and denial of paid access for unconfirmed payments.
6.Product package protection
Where practical, downloadable packages should be scanned for malware before publication. MHS may use package checksums or cryptographic hashes to help verify file integrity.
A malware scan or checksum does not establish that software is entirely safe or free from defects. Customers should maintain their own appropriate backups and security controls.
7.Administrative security
Administrative functions enforce server-side role checks and restrict access to authorised personnel.
High-impact actions (payment status alterations, package publishing, refund processing, tax editing) are logged with administrator ID, timestamp, action and outcome.
Production customer records must be isolated from demonstration and test records.
8.Vulnerability reporting
If you discover a potential security vulnerability, email info@mechetsolutions.com with a description, affected page/component, steps to reproduce safely, and potential impact.
Do not access, modify, download or disclose another person's data, disrupt the service, or exploit a vulnerability beyond what is reasonably necessary to demonstrate the issue.
9.Security incidents
If a suspected security incident occurs, MHS will assess, contain, investigate scope and impact, preserve evidence, restore systems securely, notify affected parties and authorities where required by law, and take corrective measures.
10.Backups and continuity
Appropriate backups, access restrictions and recovery procedures are maintained for critical business and customer records. Deleted data should not be restored into active use without considering the original deletion request.
11.Responsible disclosure
MHS does not grant blanket permission to conduct penetration testing or access restricted systems. Testing must be authorised and must respect applicable law and this Policy.
POLICY 11 — DATA RETENTION & DELETION POLICY
Documented retention periods, legal hold rules, statutory tax preservation, and erasure execution.
1.Purpose
MHS retains information only for legitimate operational, security, contractual, accounting, tax or legal purposes.
2.Retention schedule
MHS maintains an internal schedule identifying information categories, purposes, applicable retention periods or deletion triggers, responsible systems, deletion procedures, and statutory exceptions.
3.Deletion requests
Requests may be submitted to info@mechetsolutions.com or through account interfaces.
We verify the requester and assess whether any information must be retained by law. Eligible information will be deleted or de-identified within the applicable legal period.
4.Legal and accounting records
Invoices, tax records, transaction records and records required to resolve legal claims may need to be retained for statutory periods.
Where appropriate, we will restrict access and prevent retained records from being used for unrelated marketing or profiling.
5.Backups
Information may remain temporarily in protected backup systems until the normal deletion cycle completes. It should not be restored to active systems in a manner that disregards a valid deletion request.
6.Confirmation
Where reasonably practicable, MHS will confirm the outcome of a deletion request and explain any material category of information that must be retained.
POLICY 12 — WARRANTY, COMPATIBILITY & TECHNICAL SUPPORT POLICY
Product specifications, technical support scope, bug reporting, and engineering validation duties.
1.Product information
Product pages should state the supported host software, versions, operating systems, dependencies, intended use and material limitations. Customers should review these details before purchase.
2.Technical support
Support is provided according to the scope stated on the relevant product listing.
A listing must distinguish between included support, optional paid support and products supplied without ongoing support. MHS should not promise a response time unless it can consistently meet it.
3.Defects and bug reports
Customers should provide the product version, host-software version, operating system and a description of the issue.
We may request diagnostic information that is reasonably necessary to investigate the issue. Customers should remove passwords, confidential files and unrelated personal information before sending logs or screenshots.
4.Remedies
Depending on the issue and applicable law, MHS may provide troubleshooting, a patch, a replacement file, a workaround, a refund or another appropriate remedy. No statement in this Policy removes a mandatory consumer guarantee.
5.Engineering validation
Software outputs must be checked and validated before use in safety-critical, regulated or production environments.
Unless expressly warranted, MHS does not guarantee that a tool is suitable for every engineering application or that its output is error-free.
POLICY 13 — PAYMENTS, TAXES & INVOICING POLICY
Pricing transparency, payment provider verification, statutory invoicing, and tax determinations.
1.Displayed price
The product page and checkout must clearly state the product price, currency and applicable taxes or additional charges before payment.
2.Payment confirmation
Paid entitlements are issued only after trusted server-side confirmation that the relevant transaction succeeded. Orders with failed, pending or unverified payments must not be treated as paid.
3.Invoices
Where required, MHS will issue an invoice or other appropriate transaction document containing the legally required information.
Invoice details must correspond to the actual transaction, customer, product, amount and applicable tax treatment.
4.Tax treatment
Tax treatment depends on applicable law and the circumstances of the transaction. MHS will not apply a universal tax rate to all customers without validating applicable rules.
GSTIN, export-related declarations, LUT details and other tax information should be used only where applicable and properly verified.
5.Corrections and refunds
If a transaction is refunded or corrected, MHS will issue the relevant credit note or adjustment document where required by law.
Original invoices and transaction histories must not be silently overwritten in a way that destroys the audit trail.
6.Payment security
MHS will not ask customers to disclose their passwords, card security codes or authentication secrets by email.
Customers should contact support if they suspect a duplicate or unauthorised charge.
POLICY 14 — COMPLAINTS & GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL POLICY
Structured customer complaint resolution, grievance escalation officer, and regulatory rights.
1.Contact channel
Customers may submit complaints concerning orders, payments, downloads, licences, privacy, security or product quality to:
Email: info@mechetsolutions.com
Postal address: MecHet Solutions, Gujarat, India
2.Information to include
Please include your name, account email, order number if applicable, the nature of the complaint and relevant supporting information. Do not include passwords or complete payment credentials.
3.Handling process
MHS will record the complaint, assess urgency, investigate the facts and communicate next steps. Security incidents, suspected fraud, unauthorised transactions and privacy concerns receive prioritised handling.
4.Response times
MHS will acknowledge complaints promptly and operate a process capable of resolving them within reasonable operational periods. Applicable statutory grievance-response deadlines will prevail.
5.Escalation
If the complaint is not resolved, customers may request escalation to the designated grievance contact:
Grievance Officer: Het Patel (Founder & Grievance Officer)
Email: info@mechetsolutions.com
Customers retain the right to approach a competent regulator, consumer authority, payment provider or court where available under applicable law.
POLICY 15 — MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS POLICY
Strict separation of essential transactional notices from promotional consent, with simple unsubscribe.
1.Essential service communications
MHS may send essential messages concerning account security, order status, payment confirmation, invoices, downloads, refunds, legal notices and material service changes.
These messages are not the same as optional promotional marketing.
2.Optional marketing
Where required, promotional communications will be sent only with valid consent or another legally permitted basis.
Marketing consent should be optional, specific, clearly worded and unchecked by default where consent is requested through a checkbox.
3.Consent records
Where consent is used, MHS records the consent status, relevant wording or version, date and time, and withdrawal where applicable.
4.Unsubscribe
Customers may withdraw marketing consent using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in Account Settings or by contacting info@mechetsolutions.com.
Withdrawal will be implemented within the applicable legal period.
5.No bundling
Refusal of optional marketing consent must not prevent a customer from creating an account or purchasing a product where marketing is unnecessary for the transaction.
POLICY 16 — ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
Commitment to usable digital engineering tools, screen-reader compatibility, contrast, and feedback.
Accessibility Standards & Commitments
MHS Tools aims to make its website and digital purchasing experience usable by people with different abilities and assistive technologies.
We continuously seek to improve keyboard navigation, form labels and validation messages, colour contrast and readable text, alternative text for meaningful images, clear focus indicators, and accessible account, checkout and support workflows.
We do not claim full compliance with any accessibility standard unless the website has been assessed accordingly.
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, contact info@mechetsolutions.com and describe the affected page and difficulty. We will review the issue and consider reasonable improvements.
General Legal Interpretation
These policies must be read consistently with the laws applicable to the transaction, customer and business.
If a provision conflicts with a mandatory legal right, the mandatory legal right prevails to the extent of the conflict. The remaining provisions continue to apply where legally permissible.
No policy guarantees that a product is error-free, that the website will be continuously available, or that all security risks can be eliminated.
The published versions of these policies, their effective dates, and any legally required customer acknowledgements should be retained in an auditable manner.
